Meet the Magic-Makers

Founder

Sandeep Brar

Hi, I’m Sandeep (she/her)—founder of Jadu Movement and a lifelong lover of the stage. I’ve been performing since school musicals stole my heart, and in recent years, I found my way back to the spotlight through burlesque. Before opening Jadu, I produced and emceed my own show, Riot Room, twice last year, and the experience reminded me of how liberating it is when we show up fully, take up space and are witnessed exactly as we are.

Jadu grew out of that moment and from my belief that movement can be a portal into power, presence and self-healing. I intend for this space to be more than just a studio, it is meant to be a sanctuary, where people explore their sensuality, their strength, and their full expression without apology.

This isn’t just a place to dance, it’s a place to share your magic.

Instructors

Vida Manzo is a trained interdisciplinary artist, Bay Area born and raised. She has solidified herself in the stripping scene, despite her main concentration being modern and contemporary dance. Manzo has taught various classes to all ages that prompt students to utilize all aspects of themselves through movement. Her concept of teaching through a gender expansive and exploritave experience, comes from outdated dance instruction that she was exposed to in her training. She believes that dance should be accessible to anyone and everyone. Her favorite things : reading tarot for friends, freeze-dried bananas, and whales.

Miyuki

Miyuki (they/she) has been twirling on chrome since 2014 and teaching since 2022. They are a warm instructor who thrives on connecting students to body awareness and building strong pole foundations in a safe, encouraging environment. They are a skillful choreographer who is known for their strong musicality and versatility of style. She loves to slither and slink as much as she loves to stomp and smack her 8-inch heels together!  When not at the studio, Miyuki is behind a textbook, working their way toward the ultimate goal of becoming a physical therapist for pole dancers.
