Heels Conditioning
with Ray
All Levels, Beginners Welcome: This class is designed for dancers who want to feel stronger, more stable, and more intentional in their heels work.
We’ll focus on conditioning through choreographed repetition to train the exact movements you use in flow, transitions, climbs, and floorwork so your strength translates directly into your dance.
Expect sensual combinations used as targeted drills to build a sweat while we break down key heels techniques and foundational choreo moves, then repeat them with precision to build muscular endurance and clean execution. By the end of class, you’ll have grounded control and sensual power that you’ll be able to take into any free dance.
Pre-requisites: No experience necessary.
What to Bring: Heels or ankleweights are optional but encouraged. Knee pads recommended.

Open Pole Studio offers an hour of uninstructed time in the studio with others training as well. $25 to reserve a pole. Send us a message if you are looking for a different time or a solo training session!

Grounded Magic

Beginner and Beyond: A class exploring the foundations of floorwork and basework. Roll, twirl, and play to discover your unique energy. With a focus on self-expression, you’re encouraged to come as you are, get cozy with yourself, and embrace your movement.
Pre-Requisites: None. This class is meant to help you indulge in the uniqueness of your movement, no matter where you are in your journey.
What to Bring: Layers to protect your skin during floorwork. Kneepads and socks. Heels are optional.

High Beginner+: You’ll explore drills, foundational carves, glides, flexy pirouettes, and more all woven into a cohesive movement sequence designed to help you feel confident dancing on every edge of your heels.
This class focuses on building comfort, control, and fluidity so your transitions feel intentional and your movement feels powerful.
Pre-reqs: Comfortable with half-bracket grip , split grip, and pirouette.
What to wear: Heels + kneepads required, layers optional.

Beginner Tricks: Let yourself become Spellbound. This class is perfect for absolute beginners and those with a touch of pole experience, offering a welcoming space to explore a new style of movement while connecting to your inner magic.
In this class, you’ll learn foundational pole techniques—climbs, spins, holds, and fluid transitions—while building strength, confidence, and self-awareness.
Pre - Req—None! This is your time to uncover the jadu that’s always been within you.

High Begginer+: This heels choreography class weaves together edgework, floorwork, and fluid transitions, inviting you to move with both strength and softness. Expect moments of deeper weight-bearing, smoother weight transfers, and beginner foundations explored at a more dynamic pace.
Beyond technical precision, we’ll focus on grace, control, and intentional gaze, cultivating a richer, more magnetic performance quality.
Pre-req: Split Grip, Half Bracket Grip, Pirouettes, Figurehead, 1 Climb, Comfortable Dancing in Pole Heels.

Advanced Beginner +: A heels choreography class blending fluid basework with accessible aerial elements and designed to polish the way you move.
We’ll refine transitions and explore varied pathways through familiar shapes so your movement feels intentional and seamless. Think clean lines, controlled weight shifts, and movement that looks as good as it feels.
Each class centers on one structured combination taught on spin pole, with the option to train it on static. You’ll build technical clarity while elevating the texture and presence of your movement, strengthening both precision and performance quality.
Pre-reqs: Jasmine, Genie , Able to pole sit , Able to climb to the top of the pole, Comfortable on spin pole, Able to dance confidently in pole heels.
What to wear: Pole heels highly encouraged (for example: Pleasers), Fitted attire with an exposed midriff (for example: sports bra and fitted shorts or a bikini set).

Pole Strong

All Levels: Pole Strong is a pole-specific conditioning class designed to help you build strength, stability, and control, no matter where you are in your pole journey. This all-levels class focuses on smart, intentional conditioning using pole-based drills and bodyweight training to support safer movement, stronger technique, and long-term progress.
Whether you’re newer to pole and building foundational strength, or an experienced dancer looking to deepen control, you’ll be offered clear progressions and regressions to meet you where you’re at and challenge you appropriately.
No tricks. No pressure. Just focused strength-building, thoughtful movement, and the tools to support your growth on the pole.
Pre-reqs: None, beginners are welcome.
What to wear: Clothing that allows for grip on the pole.

Over Easy

All Levels: Ease into your morning while turning things upside down!
We won’t just be conditioning progressions for inverts and shoulder mounts, we’ll also be working on foundational movements to get upside down gracefully, without inverting.
This is an all levels class that’s all about meeting you where you’re at, and building strength and refining technique to help you progress in your invert journey, while also exploring different pathways to get upside down for all bodies.
Pre-reqs: Comfort in a basic climb
Attire: Clothes that allow grip on the pole for leg hangs (bare knee pits, shoulders, arm pits). Feel free to layer and start with more coverage.

Intermediate: Step into your power and cast something a little dangerous in this intermediate choreo class.
You’ll explore everything from slinky floorwork and sensual basework to climbing, shapes, and accessible pole tricks woven seamlessly into spellbinding routines.
A core focus is helping you discover your unique movement within the choreography, personalizing pathways and transitions to match your strengths rather than forcing your body into a rigid routine. This is a space to be powerful, sensual, eerie, playful—whatever your hex feels like that day.
Pre-Requisites: Familiarity with moves such as pirouettes, pole sits, shoulder rolls, and maintaining a 5-sec full bracket grip. Modifications and progressions are always welcome.
Attire: Layers, kneepads, heels and socks.

Beginner Flow & Choreo

Beginner Choreography: Step into the magic of movement and start your pole journey here!
This class is designed for those new to pole dancing and focuses on building a strong foundation through thoughtful conditioning, essential spins, transitions, and flow techniques.
You’ll learn how to connect movements into a short, beginner-friendly choreography that lets you explore both strength and expression. Each class ends with time to lean into your own unique flow, allowing you to discover how your body moves, feels, and expresses itself through pole dance.
No experience needed — just curiosity, courage, and a willingness to move.
Pre-Requisites: None. This class is meant for beginners who are willing to try something new!
What to Wear: Sleeveless top or sports bra, short shorts or bikini bottoms. Layers to wear over these things until you’re warmed up. Kneepads recommended for some choreo.
